Head Trainer

"I have a natural affinity with canines. As a young boy I spent all of my free time with dogs (having at one point five German Shepherd Dogs); learning everything I could about them. 
I started training my first dog at the age of 15 starting with obedience. As time progressed I started adding to my repertoire working dogs for personal protection and police work. By the age of 16 in 1991 I was working with local trainers and trained dogs for the local police department.

When I came to the United States, I trained dogs for clients mainly in obedience and protection. In 2007 I officially completed a Master Trainers course for puppy development, basic and advanced obedience,
tracking, scent detection and behavior modification. In addition to various apprenticeships for police canine training. 
Today my clients include training for personal protection, obedience, behavior modification, scent detection and tracking and all areas of full patrol in Law Enforcement.

I believe that no two dogs are alike therefore I customize training for each client to fit the temperament of the dog and needs of the family. I only conduct individual training classes as I find it yields the best results. As with any profession there are new developments and different methods of training constantly evolving therefore I keep an open mind when approaching my work"

Specialized Training

Law Enforcement
Single and Dual Purpose K9 acquisition. Handler's course tailored to the needs of the department. Preparation course for upcoming certifications. Specialized training for odor recognition, tracking, and apprehension.

Civilian Scent Detection
Such as AKC scent work or bed bug recognition.

Puppy Imprinting
Setting your puppy up for success with custom-designed classes.

Obedience

We care about your dog's long-term success, therefore we prefer one on one obedience classes. 
We are not only training your dog but we are also giving you the skill set to continue the training and enhancing bond between you and your dog.

We offer the following:
  • Puppy Obedience (8 weeks to 12 months)
  • Basic obedience
  • Advanced obedience
  • Board and Train program for those that are unable to attend one-on-one classes (minimum age of 12-14 months)
  • AKC CGC & Trick Dog training and title (More info can be found here: AKC Canine Good Citizen Program)

Personal Protection

Personal protection classes will only be offered to qualified dogs based upon a thorough evaluation. 
Our personal protection program is a custom program designed to meet the needs of the family utilizing the capabilities of the dog selected.

Behavior Modification

 Behavior modification classes are offered for aggressive dogs or those with a bite history. 
We utilize scientifically proven behavior modification methods that are rooted in trust and fairness. 
Each case is individually evaluated and together we design a custom program to address any behavioral issues.

Our facility

Our facility is located on beautiful 18 acres of rolling fields and woods. Several obstacles to improve confidence and agility of all dogs and challenging for all working K9s.

Facility has security video surveillance and lighting to train even during the darkest hours.  Additional buildings for Law Enforcement training are available as well vehicles.
